Armistice Day Brocante, Cotignac

A small but beautiful brocante sale in Cotignac took place on the 8th May 2014.

There were lots of people around to shop and soak in the beautiful weather but also to take part in the march that commenced in front of the Table de Coquelicots restaurant leading over to the memorial plaque on Rue Leon Gerard (for Gabriel Phillys, martyr killed on the Besillon in 1945) and then over to the Place de la Mairie and ending at the Cemetery memorials tombs. The Brocante also saw many new and renovated bits of furniture and collectible gold and silver jewelry. There will be many more brocantes to come this summer so check out our EVENTS section for info!
