Micro-brewery La Tuf (Le Tailleur de Bières) in Cotignac

It’s our new neighbourhood “Cheers” bar! Having opened in July of 2019, La Tuf has quickly become the most popular spot in Cotignac for a beer after work, social gatherings and evening entertainment all year ’round in an “urban chic” setting.

This new “beer pub” has a beautiful outdoor terrace area with tables. The ground floor of the interior is dominated by massive beer tanks where beer is fermenting on a constant basis. The new large upstairs space has tables and chairs, a large comfy leather couch, and a restroom. It’s not quite finished yet but has already proven attractive to young and old locals alike as a place to drink, laugh, and gather socially or for work. Associations can also have their meetings here. The space was inaugurated with a fabulous DJ- accompanied-celebration on the 15th of November 2019.

What I like best about this place is the casual atmosphere surrounded by quality finishings. Their beer, La Tuf, is fantastic (there are always at least two choices of brew) but I also love that you can get Mirabeau Wine in cans served in proper, stylish wine glasses. There are some food options too: charcuterie (hams) plates with cheeses from the local market (Le Petit Marché) and pasta boxes from across the street. You can even order excellent pizza from SOS, also across the street, that delivers to the establishment. What’s not to like? The place gets a 10 out of 10 in my book!
