The Cotignac Village Circuit Walk (sign posted as tourist circuits) is a great way to discover Cotignac’s patrimony and historical monuments. It’s an easy walk for almost anyone. Best to start at the Quatre Fontaines and head up to the town square (plc de la mairie).
The tourist circuit is numbered and starts in the middle of the village and takes you to historical sites within it that shares the patrimony and richness of the Cotignac people (called “Cotignacéens).
During the months between April and September, it is also possible to visit the troglodyte caves in the cliffs that make Cotignac famous. The fee is 2 euros and the views from up there are worth it. We highly recommend it.
