Hostellerie Cotignac is due to open its doors to the public mid-June. Hotel rooms will go from 150 (for the standard rooms) to 190 euros (for the suite) per night. There will be a restaurant (where menus/formulas will start at 29 euros for entrée, main, and dessert), a breakfast room, large lounge, and bar area as well as an outdoor garden for enjoying the beautiful weather. A great asset will be the Conference room big enough to entertain up to 40 participants. Mme Chenut is the new owner of the business and she spoke to me fondly of her days in Cotignac when she and her husband ran La Falaise (on the Cours Gambetta) as a large restaurant, until 2002. After a long break from restauration she is ready to embark on a new adventure and we wish her and her staff all the best of luck with it.
The Hotel is equipped with an elevator and is appropriately designed to accept disabled guests and wheelchair users.
